We are extremely sad to have had to say goodbye to our beloved cat DAISEY yesterday evening. She was 15 years old and our absolute baby. We rescued her around 13 years ago and she has been the boss of this family ever since - a graceful gentle adorable girl who will be in our hearts forever and is bitterly missed by us all. She started to decline in August last year and was diagnosed with thyroid problems but sadly the medication wasn't enough and she gradually got worse loosing lots of weight and finally on Tuesday 6th February after having lumps appear on her belly in just over a week was diagnosed with mammary tumours ( |

Hi guys, yes its national rabbit day today, and what a good time to have a little pre autumn check of your furry friends- Check the claws to make sure they are not too long and that they are all intact, bunnies can get carried away having a chew and end up with a sore one its always best to check.
Make sure their teeth are ok, as you know bunnies can suffer from overgrown teeth and that doesn't always have to be from birth, they can bite the cage at times and the teeth alignment changes enough to stop the top and bottom rubbing sufficiently to keep them at the same length. |

SUMMER CARE FOR BUNNIES
Now the weather is in summer mode, there are a few things to always remember when caring for small pets indoors and outdoors:
- Always make sure they have fresh water to drink at all times.
- keep an extra eye out on Bunny bottoms, flys love a nice wet bottom to lay there eggs on and this can be and quiet often is fatal leading to fly strike!
